Graduate Research Assistant, DARoS Lab, UMass Amherst — September 2025 – present
- Designing assistive guide-dog-robot navigation algorithms and datasets for blind and low-vision people: RL/VLA-based navigation and planning on quadruped robots for safe and efficient navigation.
- Researching an RL-based human-following quadruped robot and VLA-based manipulation for the lab’s custom 7-DoF Forte robotic arm.
Research Assistant, CCDS, Independent University Bangladesh — February 2024 – June 2025
- VLM-based agent-controllable representations via multi-step inverse models for principled offline RL with rich exogenous information — advised by Dr. Riashat Islam (Microsoft Research).
- Multimodal reasoning and LLM-based multi-agent collaboration under Dr. Amin Ahsan Ali and Dr. AKM Mahbubur Rahman, in collaboration with Muntasir Wahed.
